VP, Technical Client Partnership
Revature LLC a leading IT service provider is seeking a Vice President, Technical Client Partnership for Reston, VA office.
This individual will be responsible for leading and participating in technical requirement analysis of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products, applications and processes, consult business leaders across industry verticals and domains like Banking, Healthcare, Telecommunications etc. on the latest technology trends relevant in the digital economy, for providing technical/solution and financial business case support to the sales and business development team, maintaining sales/marketing forecasting reports including financial reporting, predictive business analysis, marketing strategy, pricing, availability and value proposition/advantages, Team Building and Knowledge Transfer across the Sales Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
The VP, Technical Client Partnership will support Revature LLC in several areas, including:
Leading the team to proactively work with customers (and leveraging Principals, Partners or MC as needed) to develop deployment/consumption plans for all customer wins, and to define and document clear technical decision criteria for all opportunity engagements; supporting the technical sales team’s efforts to develop skills that are deep on core technologies and broad on adjacent solutions and encouraging a team approach to complex opportunities that require cross-domain solutions. They will also showcase technology innovations internally and externally to demonstrate Revature’s business value; help builds the Financial modelling structure for the technical solutions proposed to clients; foster the ability to identify technical sales blockers, capture evidence needed to address blockers, and drive escalation as appropriate and provide coaching and professional development to team-member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills. In addition, they will develops new customers in the region, maintain and service a developed customer base through independent travel, managing distributor relationships and agent relationships; work on deals assigned to the sales team, prioritizes efforts based on maximizing total impact on team productivity and profit; proactively scope the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends Asset Based/Asset Enabled solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the company.
Furthermore, they will meet assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or teams supported; Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure; Achieves assigned productivity and profitability quotas; Leads technical specialists to provide and sell the best-in-class productivity and mobility online services to our enterprise customers, building momentum for digital transformation in helping our customers reinvent productivity and business processes; Manages, coach and lead a team of Tech Sales professionals to uncover and support the Business & IT goals of our customers, by driving the technical decision at the customer and providing Business value with the Revature Platform, thus securing long-term sustainable Growth for Revature; Takes the opportunity to help reinvent productivity as a Technical Sales Manager. Attracts the best technical salespeople from the market, develop technical talent and work with individuals on career plans that expand the team’s technical sales skills as Microsoft transforms. Drives for in-depth knowledge of the industry’s IT technologies across all Tech Sellers and be able to map relevant IT Technology Solutions to the industry’s and customers’ IT and Business maturity. Increases deal velocity by assessing the status of technical engagements at every stage of the opportunity and identifying and directing technical, architectural, and competitive escalations to the appropriate channel. Uses the team and partners to proactively address technical and architectural issues that block customers’ technology decisions and usage. Ensures that the team highlights Revature’s differentiated value proposition by leveraging their knowledge of top competitors’ technologies in architecture and capability discussions.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent in the field of Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or closely related field and 5+ years of experience in marketing, tech sales and client relations management.
